Are you aged 14-25 years with a care experience & want to have your voice amplified and heard to see change? Apply for a grant to be fully funded to attend the voices in action conference today!
We want children and young people with a care experience to reach their full potential and to have the same opportunities that those who are not in the care system have, but to do this we need to make sure the out-of-home care system works for them.
Applications closed at 5pm AEST, Tuesday 14 November 2023.
At this conference we will have over 200 young people with a care experience from around Australia discuss the care system’s BIG issues with carers, workers and care sector leaders AND come up with what needs to change to make things better. We can’t do this without your experience and knowledge!
There are two types of grants available to both young people attending the conference.
Young people can apply for one or both grants by ticking the appropriate boxes on the application form. Please note that if successful, most applicants will be asked to share accommodation with other successful applicants of the same gender and age range.
Join a unique and interactive gathering of young people, carers, out-of-home care workers, researchers, and key decision makers, as we work together to change the out-of-home care system for the better.
